Claims Management Solutions

Workers’ compensation is essential to protect your business from financial loss when an employee becomes injured or ill on the job. To maximize the benefit of workers’ compensation, proper claims handling is vital. Let CompOneUSA Workers’ Compensation Benefit process claims for you; as an employer advocate, we will always be there when needed regarding any workers’ compensation claim question or problem.

Understanding Claims Management

Claims management will help to eliminate wasted time; the longer it takes for an employee to get a claimed process, the longer it takes for the employee to recover. This can impact your future coverage contributions and your productivity may suffer.

CompOneUSA claims management procedures will verify the validity of claims and ensure employees’ injuries and illnesses are handled quickly and effectively. Claims management can also save your company from losing time and money by helping to expedite employees’ return to work.

How it Works

As your claims manager, CompOneUSA Workers’ Compensation Benefit will ensure that your insurance company:

Contact employees in a timely manner.

Investigate suspicious claims.

Facilitate the timely delivery of benefits.

Establish and implement return-to-work plans for employees.

Review the status of each claim regularly to keep costs down and encourage employees’ recovery.

Active involvement in the workers compensation and medical process ensures the employee is treated fairly and that he or she can return to work as quickly as possible.  CompOneUSA Workers’ Compensation Benefit is your advocate to guide and assist you through the claims process.

Request a Certificate

A certificate of Benefit Coverage is generally accepted as proof of Benefit Coverage. It is commonplace in many industries, especially service and construction, for one business to require a Certificate of Benefit Coverage from another business prior to having any subcontract work performed.

A workers’ compensation Certificate is issued to the Certificate Holder to provide evidence of current coverage. This protects the Certificate Holder from having to pay additional premium for your coverage on their own policy during an audit. If a policy is terminated prior to its expiration date, the benefit agency who issued the Certificate of Benefit Coverage will notify the Certificate Holders of the policy termination.

Claims Review

The Claims Review process is both an internal and external process.

  • Internally we are continuously collecting data that will help us analyze your policy.
  • Externally this data will be used to pin point the areas of your workers comp program that need attention.

There are mainly four variables that come into account in the process of a Claims Review.

  • Workers Comp Classification Code
  • Total incurred amount per claim
  • Deductible amount
  • Status of the claim (Open or Closed)

Claims that are consistently lower than the deductible may lead to better rates discounts or credits that apply to the renewal of the policy.
